Wiccan SabbatsThis is a simple application I wrote to help me remember the dates of the Wiccan Sabbats. It is free to use and distribute. When first run, Wiccan Sabbats opens to display information on the next Sabbat that is due. If you happen to run the program on the day of a Sabbat, it ought to notice this too and put a 'happy', 'joyous' or 'merry' infront of the name of the current Sabbat. There is a popup button where you can select any of the 8 major Sabbats, to display the information about them, and a popup button where you can select a God- or Goddess-name for some details about that particular deity. The names that I have chosen are ones used by myself or others in my Coven. I can add more if requested. If you tap the version you will get a brief amount of 'about' information, and if you tap the program title it will revert to the next due Sabbat as if you'd just run the program. Notes: I have tested it only on an MP2100. It should work on any Newton running NOS 2.0 or later. This software comes with no warranties, guarantees, or promises.Version History:0.3 b 23 December 2001Not quite ready yet, need to put in some more information on the Sabbats, and finish the entries on Cernunnos and Pan.Bugs fixed: Now gives celebratory prefix when run on the day of a Sabbat (was not happening right) and also advances to the next Sabbat properly (was 'stuck' for an extra 24 hours on the passed one). 0.2 b 19 December 2001Unreleased. Added Popup button for Deities, info on 5 God / Goddess names I use frequently. Also added 'about' info (tap on version) and added feature to return to next Sabbat due without quiting and restarting (tap title line).0.1 b 17 December 2001Initial release. Please send bug reports, suggestions, accolades, or awards, to: steph@maksystems.comVisit http://www.maksystems.com/newton/ for the latest version and other Newton information and software.
